North America is a continent completely within the Northern Hemisphere and almost entirely within Western Hemisphere. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the North, the Atlantic Ocean to the East, the Pacific Ocean to the West and South and to the Southeast by South America and the Caribbean Sea. With 7.5% of the world’s population, it has about 23 countries.
